A Texas mother has been accused of leaving her two small children alone at home for six days while she partied on a cruise in Puerto Rico.
Lakesha Woods Williams, 29, was arrested after police responded to a welfare check at her apartment in a luxurious Houston high-rise on Tuesday, according to court records seen by DailyMail.com.
Officials say they found Williams' eight-year-old son and six-year-old daughter at the home without supervision - almost a week after Williams had flown to Miami on April 4.
The home smelled of urine and had trash and food thrown everywhere. The kids told police their mom had left for a trip and they did not know when she would be back.

They added that Williams used a webcam and cell phone to check in on them, according to the police report.
Court records say police tried to contact Williams but she did not cooperate and kept changing her whereabouts.
Williams returned from the trip on April 10 and was arrested the following day.
Neighbors told police they saw Williams leaving with luggage on April 4 - and it's not the first time something like this happened.

The McKinley high-rise, where Williams and her children live, is billed as a luxury apartment community in Houston's Memorial City district
The children were determined to be healthy and released to their aunt.
'We are still putting together the facts and circumstances of how these children were left alone for several days,' said Ted Heap with the Harris County Constable's Office.
'But the important thing is they are safe now and those responsible should be held accountable for leaving these kids in an unsafe situation.'

Monthly rent in the building for one to two bedroom apartments goes from approximately $2,500 to over $8,000.
